2007 Senate Bill 5032: Concerning the Vancouver national historic reserve

To reaffirm Washington State’s role as an active partner in the Vancouver National Historic Reserve. The bill would reaffirm the Washington Historical Society as the state’s representative to the reserve. The society would be responsible for attending meetings, participating in planning and development, and establishing partnerships involving the reserve. They would also be required to prepare and submit budget requests to the Legislature. The bill would create a dedicated account in the state budget called the “Vancouver National Historic Reserve Account.” See companion HB 1049.   Official Text and Analysis.
