2008 House Bill 2664: to limit the use and sale of prescriber-identifiable prescription data

To limit the use and sale of prescriber-identifiable prescription data for marketing and promotional purposes. This act prohibits pharmaceutical marketers from collection, sale, transfer or dissemination of prescriber-identifiable prescription data. This bill does not prohibit certain uses or collection of data for programs such as administrating state purchased health plans. This act also defines penalties for violation of this act.   Official Text and Analysis.
